We’re kicking off the workweek on Monday & Tuesday with a dark moon in Aries, which will come into conjunction with unpredictable Uranus and retrograde Mercury on Tuesday. All of this amped-up Aries energy may have us feeling a bit antsy (especially into Tuesday as the moon conjuncts Uranus), as if we’re not doing enough or there’s something pressing that needs to be set in motion— but during a dark moon with four planets retrograde something is holding us back from taking action just yet.
We also have retrograde Mercury in trine with Saturn in Sagittarius at the beginning of this week just prior to making its conjunction with Uranus on Friday. This highlights the energy of this year’s Saturn/Uranus trine, which comes exact for the second time on May 18th. Saturn's trine to Uranus is a relatively rare alignment during which we can invite new, exciting and innovative change which expands on our most integral and optimistic goals without compromising all of the hard work we've already put in to set our plans in motion.
Monday (4/24): Retrograde Mercury in Aries makes a beautiful and harmonious trine to Saturn in the optimistic and expansive sign of Sagittarius today. This is excellent for rethinking plans and long-term goals and wonderful for motivating us to take the small steps necessary to create the bigger picture. It is likely that something needs to be re-worked in terms of the structures we’ve created for ourselves over the past two years during Saturn’s transit in Sagittarius. Looking to the placement of Aries & Sagittarius in the birth chart can give clues as to what revisions must be made in order to be more successful moving forward.
With Mercury in aspect with Saturn and nearing it’s conjunction with Uranus, now is a time when effort and duty favor individual freedom and expression, and when marching to the beat of a different drummer enhances our ability to bring structure and form to our most far-reaching ambitions.
Tuesday (4/25): No major planetary aspects today. We are in the dark phase of the moon in Aries today. The Dark Moon phase lasts roughly three days surrounding the time of the New Moon. The dark phase of the lunar cycle is a period of letting go of that which no longer serves us from the preceding lunar cycles. It is a time when the veil is quite thin and our connection to the other realms becomes much more potent. The Dark Moon is not an appropriate time to initiate new actions. For women in particular, now is a time when our physical energy is at it's lowest. It is powerful time when our psychic and intuitive abilities are heightened. Now is the time to go inward to surrender and reflect on the past while seeding intentions for the future.
Wednesday (4/26): The New Moon in Taurus is exact at 5:16am MST. In typical Taurus fashion, this New Moon is beautiful in its simplicity as it is completely un-aspected. This New Moon in Taurus is all about slowing down to enjoy the simple pleasures in life, connecting with Mother Nature, and taking stock of what we truly value in our lives. Now is a time when we can enhance our lives by cultivating a deep appreciation for the way our lives are enhanced through our connection to that which we hold dear.
Check back at the beginning of this week for the full run-down of this week’s beautiful New Moon in Taurus!
Thursday (2/27): No major planetary aspects today. We are still going strong and slowly picking up momentum with the grounded, sensual energy of yesterday’s Taurus New Moon.
I hope you all have a beautiful week! We’ll see you back here for my New Moon in Taurus insight and on Thursday for the weekend forecast. Thank you all so much for your love and support! ☺
